Scotland international rugby star Stuart Hogg has teamed up with Quality Meat Scotland (QMS) to kick off a new Scotch Beef promotional campaign.
The rugby player teamed up with a farmer, chef and butcher in Edinburgh to learn more about Scotch Beef.
It comes as QMS prepares to launch a two-month campaign to promote Scotch Beef in London and the Home Counties.
Mr Hogg, who will travel to London himself this weekend for the Six Nations match between Scotland and England, said: “It’s been great to hear all about the traceability and quality assurance behind Scotch Beef, and to get a sense of the passion and pride of those who work in the beef industry in Scotland.”
The campaign, which will carry the strapline ‘There’s beef, there’s Scottish beef, then there’s Scotch Beef’, will target more than 14million consumers during March and April. It aims to showcase Scotch Beef and encourage more shoppers to use it when they cook.
