The Highland Area Aberdeen-Angus Club is hosting a special event as part of the World Angus Forum later this month.
Pedigree and commercial breeders from across the north of Scotland will gather for the event, named Northern Exposure 2017, at Dingwall Mart on Wednesday June 28.
Club chairman Donald MacNeil said the event gave people the chance to see stock from 25 pedigree herds across the Highlands and islands, from stars of the show ring to “hardy hill-top survivors”.
“If you’re interested in obtaining some quality Angus genetics for your herd, this is your chance to see stock from a range of local pedigree herds all under the same roof,” added Mr MacNeil.
Visitors will also get the chance to see around Dingwall Mart and its Drovers Exhibition, as well as being treated to a feast of local produce against a backdrop of traditional music.
Although there will be no auction at the event, many of the cattle on display are offered up for sale privately on the day, with the usual arrangements for commission to Dingwall Mart.
The event runs from 10am to 5pm.
