A 390-acre arable farm in Moray is being offered on the lettings market by Crown Estate Scotland.
Byres Farm, located 11 miles from Elgin on the Fochabers Estate, is the first open market letting being offered by Crown Estate Scotland since it formed in April.
The farm extends to approximately 392.619 acres of arable land, and it comes with a detached category B listed house and a range of farm buildings.
It will be let on a 10-year Modern Limited Duration Tenancy – the new form of tenancy introduced on November 30.
Crown Estate Scotland said offers would be considered for the farm as a whole and consideration would also be given to offers that exclude the farmhouse.
The organisation’s head of property, Andy Wells, said: “We are keen to see submissions from a wide range of prospective tenants.
“We take great pride in nurturing strong relations with our tenants and working with them to succeed in improving productivity while enhancing the environment of the farm.
“We’re seeking a tenant who has a solid business plan which will enhance the farm’s productive capacity while also considering diversification and environmental initiatives.”
Tenders close at noon on January 12, 2018.
