AHDB is offering farmers discounted places on a management training scheme.
Levy payers are eligible for a £3,000 discount on the Professional Manager Development Scheme, which runs from January 2019 until March 2020.
The course is designed to increase the skills of farmers who manage people and raise the level of professionalism in the industry.
“As businesses respond to a changing market, skills needs alter and our management skills need to develop to ensure we get the best out of our employees and others that support the business such as consultants, advisors and contractors,” said AHDB senior skills manager, Tess Howe.
The course comprises 10 sessions over its 14-month duration, each consisting of an evening discussion followed by a day of management training.
Farmers who take part will receive a formal qualification from the Institute of Leadership Management.
Application forms must be submitted by October 31 and the discounted cost of the course for eligible levy payers is £950 plus VAT.
