Staff at north-east farmers’ co-operative ANM Group have raised £5,500 for charity.
A range of fundraising activities were undertaken by staff to raise funds for Diabetes UK and Alzheimer Scotland.
This included monthly cake days, race nights and discos, themed clothing days, and sponsorship for Scott Naismith from the Thainstone Specialist Auctions divsion to run the London Marathon.
“The group has a strong track record of supporting charitable organisations, and we look forward to continuing with our future fundraising efforts,” said ANM chief executive Grant Rogerson.
He said the group had completed its Facebook charity calendar competition, which aims to raise funds for Cash for Kids Aberdeen and the Royal Northern Countryside Initiative.
Copies of the calendar, which features agricultural photos submitted by members, customers and farming enthusiasts, cost £8 and go on sale from November 1.
