Bulls met a disappointing trade at the Aberdeen Christmas Classic yesterday when only eight of the 20 bulls forward found new homes. The sale topped at 4,600gn for the Limousin champion from the pre-sale show, as judged by Allen Drysdale, Middle Drimmie, Blairgowrie. This was February 2018-born Spittalton Oban, by Ampertaine Gigolo, from Andrew Burnett, Upper Spittalton, Blair Drumond. Next best at 3,600gn was the overall champion selling to D Whyte, Hindstones, New Aberdour, Fraserburgh. This was February 2018-born British Blue bull Aultmore Neptune, by Bluegrass Cyclone, from Garry Patterson, Aultmore, Keith.
