Limousin breeders from across Scotland will descend on the north-east for the Scottish National Limousin Grand Prix at next year’s Turriff Show.
Organisers of the two-day event – the Turriff District Agricultural Association (TDAA) have also revealed a new presidential team for next year’s event and named Bridgend Aggregates as the main show sponsor.
Alan Gaul, who farms at Little Whiterashes, near Turriff, is the 2020 show president.
He is joined by senior vice-president Kevin Gray, of Tillyfar, Turriff, and junior vice-president David Allan, from Mains of Melrose, Gamrie.
“There is so much hard work and dedication that goes in to organising an event like this and for Turriff, the success has been down to the continued support of the local community and businesses,” said Mr Gaul.
“We are delighted to have Bridgend Aggregates on board as the main sponsor.
“The family business has been a great help to TDAA over the years, including assisting with the development of the new Codona’s Funfair hardstanding area in 2019.”
Next year’s show takes place on August 2-3 2020.
