GALLERY: Children learn early lessons on farm life
ByGemma Mackenzie
Children are enjoying lending a helping hand on farms and crofts across Scotland during the Covid-19 lockdown.
The closure of schools and nurseries has left parents faced with the task of home-schooling.
And many of those farming parents, and grandparents, are taking the opportunity to teach the next generation about farming and food production.
Earlier this week a number of industry organisations launched an online portal packed full of educational resources about food and farming. It can be accessed at www.rhet.org.uk/teachers/resource-portal.
Send in your farming pictures, along with details of where you are, to pj.farming@ajl.co.uk.
We will print the best pictures we receive in the weeks and months ahead.
