Applications are now open for sheep farmers to discuss future agricultural policy at Houses of Parliament next month
Sheep farmers are being asked to complete a Europe-wide survey in a bid to improve flock health and nutrition.
EuroSheep, funded by Horizon 2020, the EU research and innovation programme, aims to identify the common challenges faced by producers.
Dr Claire Morgan-Davies from SRUC said: “The first step of the project is to identify the main challenges farmers and producers face, and the needs they have, in terms of nutrition and health in their flocks. We can then address these and provide solutions to improve flock profitability.”
