The Scottish Government has produced Covid-19 guidance for farmers and crofters.
It says the guidance coincides with the safe restarting of non-food relating farming activities and construction and manufacturing agricultural businesses.
It provides details on how to safely work with others on farms and crofts, Covid-19 hygiene measures, how to facilitate a farm or croft inspection safely and operating farm shops.
“The coronavirus crisis has changed the way many of us work and will have a lasting impact on businesses going forward, so it is important that we work together to support farmers, crofters and their families and employees,” said Rural Economy Secretary Fergus Ewing.
He encouraged all farmers to read and make use of the advice, adding: “This guidance brings together all the latest rules and information and will be updated regularly. Please take the time to ensure you have implemented all the measures relevant to your business.”
