Aside from the livestock competitions, some of the most popular attractions at agricultural shows are the various food and drink tents and the many trade stalls. And the Scottish Agricultural Show is no exception.
Dozens of businesses will be showing off their wares over the two days of the show – from agricultural machinery right through to financial services with a focus on the industry.
The trade stands (sponsored by Netherton Tractors) feature sellers from across Scotland who are taking the chance to let you know what makes them great and, despite the Covid-19 restrictions, they are continuing to offer their customers the best service.
You can visit their virtual stands to find out more about their products and services, get special offers only for show visitors and enter competitions to win some fantastic prizes.
The ever-popular beer tent is sponsored by 71 Brewing and they have created an array of special features for you to enjoy. Choose your perfect beer using their personality quiz, learn about different types of beer and much more.
In the drinks tent, sponsored by Bon Accord, you’ll be inspired by the many drinks producers and retailers who will have cocktail recipes, quizzes to help you pick the best drink for your taste and special offers for visitors to the show.
The food tent, sponsored by Red Poppy, will bring a host of treats for the foodies. Peruse the stalls to learn all about some of the best Scottish products, including meat, oats, soups and much more.
From classics to more unusual items, you will leave the tent full of food for thought (and with a few recipes to try out, too).
For those with a focus on leisure, Stewart’s Resort will be giving you all the information to plan your next getaway. You can even win a weekend’s stay for six at the resort, located near St Andrews.
There will also be a full day of videos from Scotland’s Larder Live on the main stage on Saturday, including Scotland’s Cheese Trail, the Batch Lady and much more.
So make sure that while you are enjoying the first Scottish Agricultural Show you don’t miss the tents and trade stands.
