ByGemma Mackenzie
North-east breeder Stuart Wood was crowned top of the flocks in the Beltex Sheep Society’s virtual Royal Highland Show contest.
The society held a series of virtual contests and breeders have donated their prize money to rural charities including RSABI in Scotland.
The champion in the virtual Highland Show contest was a ewe lamb named Woodies Flirt from Stuart Wood’s Woodies flock at Woolhillock Croft, Skene, Aberdeen. Reserve was another Woodies entry – a shearling ewe named Woodies Extravagant.
