First prize for Angus the bull at the Highland Show
The East of Scotland Highland Cattle Club held its spring show at West Busby Methven on Saturday, courtesy of Mr and Mrs N Taylor, with 21 cattle competing.
The judge was John Mackay, Erskine.
Champion title was awarded to Donald and Bryon MacNaughton, Kelty with a 2-year old heifer. While, reserve went to Maureeen McArthur and John Ashton, Strathpeffer with a yearling heifer.
Senior bull year old heifer, calf, young cow – D and B MacNaughton.
Senior cow- Bill and Sandra Wilson, Kingskettle.
Junior bull, pairs – M McArthur and J Ashton.
Young handler – Lewis Singer (8), Drumlithie.
