A new Highland cattle breed record was set when a five-year-old bull sold for 23,000gn at United Auctions in Stirling.
The bull – Eoin Mhor 17th of Mottistone – was being sold as part of the dispersal of Michael Poland’s Mottistone fold based on the Isle of Wight and Benderloch, near Oban.
