She is a cheviot cross, a breed which often gives birth to twins, but the odds of five births are one in a million. Their combined weight was a healthy 31 ¾ lb. The challenge is not over as the ewe can only produce enough milk for one lamb, meaning the other four have to be hand-reared at her croft.
