Two north-east charities are set to benefit from donations from fundraising at a recent farm model show.
Nearly 1,000 people attended the North East Model Farm and Construction Show in Newmachar earlier this month.
The show, which allows collectors and enthusiasts to view displays and purchase models of agricultural, haulage and construction machinery, saw £2,000 raised for charity.
Organiser Any Ingram, who started the show four years ago alongside friend Brian Gray, donated £1,000 to the Brain Injury Group Grampian and £1,000 to the Archie Foundation.
Fundraising efforts included the auction of a special edition show model donated by 1/32 farming models – this made £170.
Next year’s show is set for May 3, 2015 at the Newmachar Community Centre.
