Texel sheep breeders from across the north and north-east have been recognised in a pair of flock competitions by regional clubs.
First up the Highland Area Texel Sheep Club tasked Iain Thomson, of The Yetts, Viewfield Road, Tain, to judge its flock contest.
Judging saw Mr Thomson, accompanied by club members, travel between Ross-shire, Caithness and Orkney to judge the 13 flocks put forward.
Taking the best overall flock title was Jim and Nina Leitch, of Feolquay, Evie, Orkney. Standing in reserve was Stephen Sutherland, of Sibmister Farm, Thurso, while the prize for the overall pen of ewe lambs was won by Charles and Isobel Angus, of Oldfield Farm, Thurso.
Meanwhile, the North of Scotland Texel Club invited Alastair Fault, of the Forkins flock in Northern Ireland, to judge its flock competition.
The overall champion flock title was presented to Graham Morrison who runs the Deveronvale flock at Inchbruich Farm, Cornhill. He also took the champion ewe lambs prize.
The champion stock ram prize was presented to Rodney Blackhall who runs the Sheeoch flock at Balbridie, Banchory. He won with Hilltop Untouchable.
Standing in reserve was William Cruden and son Callum, of Upper Kirkton, Dyce, Aberdeen. They won with Carran Up & At’Em.
The club also presented the prize of the north-east show competition, which tallies up the points gained at shows in the area including Echt, New Deer, Banchory, Turriff, Keith and Tarland.
The top title went to Gillian Adams, of Deevalley, with Wendy Willox, of Strathinver, in reserve.
