Police have arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with the theft of 12 pedigree sheep from a Highland farm.
Earlier this month 12 Suffolk sheep were stolen from the Bilbster area of Caithness.
A police spokeswoman said: Following extensive enquiries carried out in conjunction with partner agency Scottish SPCA, all twelve sheep were recovered locally and returned to their owner.
“Members of the public are thanked for their support in sharing our appeal and providing information.”
