Housebuilder Dandara has won a series of awards including best residential high rise development for Aberdeen’s first private rental scheme.
The firm’s Forbes Place at Stonywood scheme also won two further “five star” awards at the UK round of the International Property Awards.
Other of the firm’s developments to be recognised at the awards include its design for a three bedroom bungalow at its Hazelwood development in Aberdeen’s West End as well as for a development in Kent.
Dandara will now progress to the “world’s best” round of the awards, which is judged later this year.
Gavin Wyley, managing director of Dandara in Aberdeen, said: “Our first residents began moving into their new apartments at Forbes Place in Aberdeen just a matter of weeks ago, so to be able to refer to it as an award winning development at this stage is a huge achievement.
“These awards are a fantastic acknowledgement of Dandara’s commitment to providing the highest possible standard of living to all our customers, whether they’re looking for their forever home or flexible, high quality rental accommodation.
“We look forward to representing the UK among the world’s most highly regarded property developers at the final judging stage later this year.”
The UK Property Awards are judged by a panel of more than 70 highly from all over the world, and is chaired by two active members of the House of Lords: Lord Caithness and Lord Best.
