The cHeRies Awards 2017, in association with Robert Gordon University’s Aberdeen Business School and supported by Mattioli Woods, is seeking entries for next year’s event, now in its tenth year.
Entries are now open to find successes and examples of excellence in the fields of human resources, recruitment and training in the north east of Scotland.
One of the categories – Fantastic HR Advisor – is seeking applicants from an industry professional who has gained respect from their client base by ensuring high visibility and face to face contact while proactively delivering a high standard of HR service and solutions.
The shortlisted candidates will be able to demonstrate their continuing professional development and provide evidence of how this supports their ability to understand their business and apply and adapt best practice to suit the needs of their clients.
Nominations will also be judged on evidence of their impact, provision of their individual HR service and solutions and evidence of learning from CPD activities undertaken in the preceding year.
Last year, Amec Foster Wheeler’s Sara Nash hoisted the trophy in the category.
She said: “I was really surprised – it was nice to be put forward by my colleagues at Amec Foster Wheeler. I wasn’t expecting that, so to win was a shock, but a good shock. It was nice to get recognition for the team, even though I was terrified I’d trip up collecting the award.
“I’d definitely encourage others to participate, especially given that so many people attend. Winning raises people’s profiles across the industry, as well as within their own companies.”
