The head chef of a north-east catering firm has been inducted into an exclusive professional body that promotes the highest standards of cuisine and working practices in the UK.
Ali Macsween, executive chef at Entier, has become one of just 150 fellows of the Master Chefs of Great Britain.
Master chefs are chosen following interviews and skills tests.
Peter Bruce, chief executive of Entier, said: “This is a thoroughly deserved accolade for Ali as he is an extremely talented and creative chef.
