North-east company Xtreme Business Solutions (XBS) has collapsed, with 50 jobs lost across operations in Aberdeenshire and Fife.
The specialist supplier of cabling infrastructure and networked wireless systems and services ran its £2million-a-year business from offices in Westhill and Dalgety Bay.
Joint administrators Iain Fraser and Tom MacLennan, partners with FRP Advisory, said yesterday the firm had ceased trading.
The job losses include 31 at Westhill and 19 in Fife.
FRP Advisory, which will be marketing the assets for sale, blamed rising costs and falling margins, leading to unsustainable cash flow issues.
