Aberdeen-based oil services firm says ‘adapt-or-die’ attitude allowed it to remain competitive in new energy marketplace

Oil services firm 2M Group said yesterday a major restructuring it undertook allowed it to remain competitive in the new energy marketplace.
The Aberdeen-based company, founded in Aberdeen in 1983, explained that it was an “adapt-or-die” attitude that prompted the rebrand after a few difficult years.
Sales manager Eddie Middleton said: “As with many other companies in the north-east of Scotland, the company was affected by the downturn and that forced us to really reassess the business model so never again would we have all our eggs in one basket.
