Scottish oil and gas recruitment company AGR has reported strong growth at its fledgling north-east operation.
AGR (Advanced Global Recruitment), based in Edinburgh, opened an office in Westhill, near Aberdeen, just over a year ago.
Its north-east workforce has grown from just two to eight since then amid a recovery in the offshore oil and gas industry.
As a result, AGR is relocating from Aberdeenshire to new premises on Albert Street in Aberdeen.
AGR, which operates in 54 countries, said market conditions continued to be “very challenging”.
But maiden annual turnover of £2 million at the north-east division is forecast to soar to £5m in year two.
Chief executive Stuart Hunter said: “From a standing start in April 2017 and through a targeted growth plan, the team have built a strong client and candidate database very quickly and efficiently.
“We are now proud to list many of the world’s largest offshore oilfield services companies as our repeat business clients.
“We are looking forward to further cementing our position and reputation in the Aberdeen market in the near future”.
