The future of the north-east housing market is to be explored at the latest in a series of Press and Journal business breakfasts.
The event entitled “Housing in the North East: now and what the future holds” will take place on September 27 at Aberdeen’s Marcliffe Hotel and Spa.
This breakfast is the third the newspaper has held this year and is sponsored by Cala Homes, whose managing director Mike Naysmith will join the expert panel, which also features Mike Cunningham, partner and residential head of property at Ledingham Chalmers.
Other panellists will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Established in Aberdeen in 1875, Cala claims to provide “well designed and beautifully constructed new homes” in which people aspire to live.
It is proud of its roots in Aberdeen and continues to grow and invest in the area with current developments including Oldfold Village and Craibstone Estate.
Current Cala sites include Cala at Grandhome and The Grange at Balgownie in Bridge of Don, Gateway and Cults Park in Cults, and Milltimber Manor at Oldfold Village, Milltimber.
Landmark sites such as Craibstone Estate are also due to roll out this year.
Mr Naysmith said: “We are very pleased to be involved with an event which brings together business leaders from across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire to discuss and help shape the future of the region.”
Former business breakfast panellists have included Bob Keiller, Jeanette Forbes, Martin Gilbert and Duncan Fraser.
