The reservoir will be drained using a single well connected to a planned pipeline between the Arran field and Shell’s Shearwater platform. Columbus is expected to produce 7,800 barrels of oil equivalent (boe) per day at peak. It has contingent resources of 13.4 million boe. To read more on Energy Voice, click here.
