The boss at Three60 Energy’s North Sea business has been promoted to group CEO.
Walter Thain will be responsible for leading strategic growth across the company, broadening its technical and geographic capability and extending its footprint in key energy markets.
As CEO of the North Sea business he played a “critical role” in the development of the group, since joining in March.
A senior industry leader with nearly three decades’ experience, Mr Thain joined Three60 from Petrofac, where he held roles in the UK and UAE.
The firm’s aim is to deliver value adding services for owners, developers and operators of energy assets. Allister Langlands, chairman of Three60 Energy, said: “I am delighted to announce the appointment of Walter.
“He has demonstrated throughout his career the ability to help customers deliver more for less and develop new models of service delivery that maximise efficiency and recovery from producing basins around the world.
“Walter has already made a significant contribution to the development of Three60 Energy since joining earlier this year.”
