Teams who work better together than they do apart are being urged to apply for one of the most prestigious award ceremonies in the north-east’s business calendar.
The Terrific Team of the Year award, sponsored by CMS, will again recognise groups of colleagues who have excelled at this year’s cHeRries.
This category is open to both established HR teams and teams formed to complete a specific HR project.
Those lucky enough to be shortlisted will have excelled within their function and across the organisation by partnering with the wider business to achieve cross-function synergies and bottom line performance.
Last year’s winners were Chrysaor E&P Service.
Through an innovative acquisition of assets in 2017, the firm became the leading independent in the UK North Sea. It is now a self-sustaining full cycle exploration and production company that plans to grow.

The winners said they came together as a small team over the course of 2017. They said pride comes not just from what they delivered but how they did it.
To be recognised by senior management and colleagues who submitted and supported their nomination was greatly appreciated. They said to receive external recognition as well was the cherry on the cake.
Alison Woods, partner at CMS, said: “CMS are proud to once again support the Terrific Team of the Year Award.
“We are looking forward to celebrating the hard work and talent from HR teams across the region.
“If your HR team demonstrated excellence in HR last year, we encourage you to enter this category.”
Entries for the awards, in association with Robert Gordon University and supported by Mattioli Woods, are open until midnight on Sunday February 10.
The ceremony will be held on May 30 at the Marcliffe Hotel and Spa.
It’s never been easier to enter, with a new entry form online at www.cherriesawards.co.uk
