Dutch marine services company Boskalis has moved a near 80-strong subsea team into pavilion five of Knight Property Group’s Kingshill Park development in Westhill.
The firm has taken a lease for the whole building, giving it 8,565sq ft of office accommodation.
It previously rented space at Westpoint House in Arnhall Business Park, Westhill.
Boskalis is a leading international dredging contractor and supplies a range of services for the construction and maintenance of maritime infrastructure.
Boskalis Subsea managing director Stuart Cameron said the group’s new home in Westhill offered the north-east team “excellent accommodation and conditions”, while it was also handy for the recently opened Aberdeen city bypass road.
Boskalis has the likes of Cala Homes, Swagelok, Acumen Financial Planning, Awilco Drilling and StormGeo as its new neighbours at Kingshill, which will have a total of 11 office pavilions, ranging from 2,569ft to 16,400ft, on completion.
Knight director Howard Crawshaw said: “Boskalis have been able to tailor their fit-out to suit their needs.
“All that remains vacant are the ground floors of both pavilion six and seven, which sport two self-contained suites, each of 2,606sq ft.”
He continued: “Interest remains strong and we’re hopeful tenants will be secured for these in the near future.”
Arron Finnie, managing partner for the Aberdeen office of letting agent Ryden, said: “Flexibility, both in terms of the lease and the building, has allowed Boskalis to secure a grade A office they can grow into.”
