Pipeline repairs have shut down production at three North Sea platforms.
Repsol Sinopec Resources UK (RSRUK) announced on Friday it is working to fix an issue on the main export pipeline from the Claymore platform to the Flotta oil terminal in Orkney.
Production has also been halted from RSRUK’s Tartan and Cnooc’s Golden Eagle platforms which also flow through the same export line.
RSRUK said the problem relates to a leak of hydraulic fluid, not oil, meaning there is no threat of a hydrocarbon leak.
