Controversy-seeking beer maker Brewdog more than quadrupled its profits last year to £2.36million after it opened it its new £7.5million brewery in Ellon.
Turnover also rose from £10.65million to £18million in 2013 as the firm hailed its “most successful year to date (again)”.
According to the firm’s accounts filed at Companies House, the highest paid director – thought to be co-founder James Watt – earned a £100,000 salary.
At the end of the year the company had 186 staff, including 114 bar staff.
Mr Watt said: “With a little bit of luck, loads of hard work and mountains of hops, 2014 looks to be even better for Brewdog than 2013 was.”
