Aberdeen information technology communications company Arrowdawn has opened an office in Inverness.
The firm has moved into premises at the city’s Cradlehall Business Park, where it employs a senior network engineer and expects to add to its team by the end of the year amid expectations of rising demand for its services in the north.
Arrowdawn is targeting annual turnover of £3million by the end of 2015, with the figure for the current trading year forecast to reach a record £2million – up by 11% on 2012/13.
Managing Gordon Adie said the company was exploring plans to expand into other areas of Scotland.
He added: ” It’s early days yet but we would be interested if the right fit for Arrowdawn should present itself.”
The Highland capital was a significant step in the growth strategy, he said, adding: “We expect that having a strong local presence will allow us to drive new business opportunities in Inverness and the surrounding area.”
Arrowdawn supplies internet-based telephony systems and network infrastructure services to local, national and international companies in various industry sectors.
The business – founded by Mr Adie in 2000 – currently employs nine people.
