Banchory Lodge Hotel has undergone a £300,000 refurbishment, creating 10 jobs at the Royal Deeside business.
The project involved an overhaul of the main restaurant and reception and an extension of the bar to three times its original size.
Plans for more work outside the Georgian-style hotel are at an early stage, but include a terrace with a wood-fired oven.
General manager Robbie Mitchell said: “We’re very excited that the third phase of our refurbishment is now complete.
“We’ve worked hard to deliver a venue for Deeside that is as much for the locals as it is for guests from further afield.”
He added: “We’ve restored and added to the building and grounds to make sure that Banchory Lodge Hotel becomes an unbeatable and memorable choice for visitors.”
