Property firm Savills has opened an office in Aberdeen.
The first key appointments have already joined the new branch in the city’s west end.
They will be joined by specialists from across areas of expertise including building consultancy, commercial agency, development, energy, investment, lease consultancy, management, new homes, planning, residential, retail, rural and valuations.
Heading up the office is Ewan Berkeley who has been advising Savills’ clients in the north-east for 34 years.
Mr Berkeley said: “Aberdeen has demonstrated resilience to the recession and continues to offer opportunities for future growth.”
Mark Fleming, joint head of Savills Scotland, added: “Around 60% of our investment business emanated from the Aberdeen area last year.
“Introducing a local team…will enable us to further strengthen our presence in the region.”
