Tourism bosses have teamed up with Aberdeenshire Council in a new scheme aimed at boosting the welcome for visitors to the north-east.
Accommodation providers will be entitled to a raft of benefits, including free or low-interest loans and social media advice.
The project will also offer funding for VisitScotland’s quality assurance scheme.
VisitScotland’s regional director, Philip Smith, said: “Following on from 2014 – a monumental year for Scottish tourism, when so many global events came to our shores – the drive for quality has never been so important.
“And in 2015, Scotland’s Year of Food and Drink, we will offer businesses even more opportunities to build on this success.
“Quality assurance is about more than just the stars on your door, it’s about the entire visitor experience, investing in your business and making it as economically sustainable as it can possibly be.”
Aberdeenshire Council is now organising a series of workshops with hospitality business owners to promote the project.
The sessions will be held at Castle Hotel in Huntly on February 4, Banff Springs Hotel in Banff on February 5 and at the Buchan Braes Hotel near Peterhead on February 24.
