An Aberdeen coffee wholesaler has started 2015 with new contracts expected to bring in £1million of extra sales over the next three years.
The new deals for Caber Coffee are with clients in the oil and gas and retail and leisure sectors as well as the contract catering industry, where the 27-year-old firm is enjoying particularly strong growth.
Caber Coffee supplies ground coffee, beans, teas, vending ingredients and a wide range of hot beverage equipment.
The family-run business – it was launched in 1988 by husband and wife team Dughall and Maureen Leask and is now run by their son, Findlay – employs 13 people.
Findlay Leask said the new contracts helped to “galvanise” the Holburn Street firm’s growing profile across the north-east.
He added: “It also ensures that the business can grow at a managed rate, thus preserving our key focus on customer service.”
