Scottish public relations and marketing agency Muckle Media has expanded its operations across the country after snapping up north-based Platform PR.
Platform’s managing director, Beauly-based Jane Cumming, and director Jenny Macpherson are joining Muckle’s board
after the £350,000
deal.
It is part of Muckle’s plans to grow its business across the UK and increase annual fee income to £2.8million by 2020.
The firm now has a team of 12 and turnover in excess of £750,000.
Existing clients such as Gett and Entrepreneurial Spark will be complemented by long-standing Platform PR customers including Marine Harvest and Gordon and MacPhail.
Muckle now has a presence in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and
Inverness, and aims to open its first office in England next year to service an increasing number of clients seeking UK-wide regional communications support.
Nathalie Agnew, managing director, Muckle Media Group, said: “I’ve long respected Jane, Jenny and colleagues at Platform PR and look forward to welcoming them to our team.”
Ms Cumming added: “After more than 30 years in the industry and 13
years in consultancy, I’m excited about this new chapter.
“We’re relishing the opportunity to work with a new team and share skills and best practice.”
