A print and document management firm in Inverness will hire a further eight people as it prepares to grow its business by a third this year.
Danwood Highland said its year to end of June was a “record” year for the firm as new contract wins grew turnover by over 12%. Danwood director Paul MacLeod said the firm was on-track to grow its income 33% in this financial year on the back of new and extended contracts with clients including Inverness-based Orion Group.
Danwood Highland secured new contracts with the Cairngorm Group, MacDonald Partnership, MSIS Group, Korrie Group, Millers of Speyside and the Edinburgh Salmon Company, while its Aberdeen office, Danwood Grampian has taken on over 100 contracts since its launch last year.
“It’s excellent news that such prestigious companies have chosen us,” said Mr Macleod.
“These and a series of other new contracts have given us our best financial year to date and, as such, we are looking to create eight new jobs to work alongside Danwood’s 20-plus staff of skilled engineers, network specialists, accredited trainers and customer-centric IT support.”
The firm, which supplies and services photocopiers, printers and scanners, is a locally-owned franchise operation of Lincoln-based Danwood Group.
Mr Macleod added: “We’re a local, Highland-owned print and document solutions company with offices throughout the north of Scotland and our services help in significantly reducing real costs, generating efficiencies and productivity rewards, minimising the environmental impact whilst enhancing the general user experience.”
