Aberdeen’s local authority is hosting a series of “business booster” workshops.
Aberdeen City Council’s Employability Skills and Community Enterprise team hosted over 30 events in 2015, attracting 559 attendees with 2016 delivering even more workshops, with 378 attendees for the first six months of 2016.
The free workshops are designed to provide support and equip businesses with a variety of skills and knowledge. The workshops focus on a range of topics including: identifying stress and restoring wellbeing at work; boosting digital awareness; export; endering skills development; “meet the buyer” events and networking.
Jenny Laing, Aberdeen City Council leader, said: “These workshops provide a fantastic opportunity for the local business community, focusing on local needs. The rapid uptake from north east enterprises demonstrates the benefit of these events.
“I would strongly encourage that if your business hasn’t already been along to any of the events to sign up immediately.”
