A hotel owned by the chairman of Lossiemouth Football Club has gone into liquidation.
Moray Hotels ltd, which was the company behind the Mill House Hotel near Buckie, will be the subject of a liquidators meeting for creditors to be held in Aberdeen next week.
The firm was part-owned owned by Royce Clark, the football club chairman. The 36-year-old business man is also the managing director of Grampian Furnishers in Lossiemouth, which is not affected by the collapse of the hotel firm.
Mr Clark was not available for comment last night.
Alexander Fraser of FRP Advisory in Aberdeen has been appointed as interim liquidator.
