A man threatened staff in a Perth food shop with a knife before stealing hundreds of pounds in cash.
A police spokesman said the robbery happened at Farmfoods in South Street at around 4.50pm yesterday.
He added that there were several customers in the store at the time.
The man, who escaped with a three figure sum, is described as Asian or North African, about 5’10” tall, with very short dark hair and stubble on his face.
He had a gold tooth and was wearing a cream coloured T-shirt with a metallic pattern under a black leather jacket.
