Cala Homes has been given the go ahead to start work on a new housing scheme in Bridge of Don.
The Scots housebuilder has been granted planning permission for the development, which will comprises 26 three, four and five-bedroom homes, at Balgownie Home Farm, Bridge of Don.
Cala described the area as one of Bridge of Don’s “best kept secrets”, with plans afoot to use elements of an existing walled garden to surround the detached homes.
The firm recently launched The Links at Dubford development in the Bridge of Don area, comprising 76 four and five bedroom homes and apartments.
Cala homes managing director for the north Mike Naysmith said: “Demand for homes at The Links at Dubford has already been extremely high, so we are delighted to have been granted permission for a second development in Bridge of Don, as the appetite is certainly there for homes of this quality in the area.”
He said the location would be of interest to growing families, commuters and those downsizing their homes.
Sales for the Balgownie Gate scheme will launch later this year.
