Brightsolid, the Scottish cloud hosting and data centre provider, has been crowned Scottish Employer of the Year at an awards ceremony in Glasgow.
The judges of the event said the Dundee-based company, which also won the SME Employer of the Year title, had accomplished a huge amount in the last 12 months and was a “clear winner”.
“Their staff programmes are truly innovative and inspirational,” the judges added.
The Youth Investment Award was won by Peterhead-based Score Group. The engineering services firm has the largest Modern Apprentice programme in Scotland and the investment in its staff was highlighted in the large volume of responses to its staff survey. The judges were also impressed with the active role the company plays in its community.
The Best Work Environment Award was won by Aberdeen-based Bread PR. The firm, which was recently acquired by Glasgow-based rival, 3X1, said its move to new offices had “dramatically improved the working environment”.
Business Insider Scotland’s Best Employer Awards 2015 were held at the Radisson Blu hotel on Wednesday.
