Watch back Aberdeen City Music School’s rendition of A Gaelic Blessing from the 2022 Evening Express Christmas Concert.
The group are among more than 700 performers from 23 schools and community organisations who took to the P&J Live stage on Sunday December 11.
The Christmas concert has been a seasonal staple of the north-east for more than 50 years, and more than 2,000 tickets were sold across this year’s two action-packed shows.
More than £15,000 has been raised for the Evening Express Pounds for Primaries initiative and all of the proceeds will benefit north-east schools.
Show director Laura Pike described the concerts in one word: “Magnificent.”
She said: “I thought the children all day over both shows, the audience, they were all just ready for a big celebration.”
