A troubled Aberdeen nursery has been issued with a formal improvement notice from the Care Inspectorate.
All Stars Nursery in Don Street won a court battle to remain open earlier this year after the inspectorate after a five-year battle amid allegations children were at risk.
But in March, inspectors criticised nursery staff for leaving distraught children crying uncontrollably because they thought they were “too spoilt”.
Now an improvement notice has been issued, warning the nursery must demonstrate significant improvement or face further action.
A spokesman for the Care Inspectorate said: “Our inspection raised several areas of significant concern.
“The service must now demonstrate that the health and welfare needs of children are identified and met in a sensitive and caring manner.
“The service must also ensure that risks to the safety of children attending the nursery are identified and managed effectively.”
