Business students will learn how to become leaders of the pack when they rub shoulders with top industry bosses.
More than a dozen bosses will share their knowledge and expertise with MBA students when they take part in Robert Gordon University’s (RGU) 11th MBA Leadership Week at Aberdeen Business School.
The annual event brings together MBA students and alumni from all over the world, with experts from a range of business sectors in a week of learning opportunities which focus on the fundamentals of leadership and the challenges which leaders face.
The programme, which runs from tomorrow for a week, includes practical workshops, team-building exercises and leadership simulation scenarios.
Around 100 full-time, part-time and distance learning students will participate in the event.
Among the speakers this year will be Neil Wood MBE, a consulting partner at Deloitte, who was finance director of the London 2012 Olympic bid and chief finance officer and executive board member of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG).
Dr Ian Broadbent, MBA director, said: “Leadership week is the centrepiece of the MBA course at RGU and is designed to allow our students to explore the challenges of leadership through a series of interactive sessions and workshops.”
