One of the north-east’s top teaching facilities sustained water damage on Thursday after a pipe burst.
Robert Gordon University is still counting the cost of the damage to the Sir Ian Wood building, on the Garthdee Campus.
A university spokesman said only a small area had been affected, with minimal disruption to staff and students.
“As a result of a non-weather related failure in a section of internal water services pipework, a small internal area of the Sir Ian Wood Building sustained some damage,” he said.
“The extent of the damage is currently being assessed.
“The rest of the building remains fully accessible to staff, students and visitors and the university will remain open as normal.”
