From a young age, Harriet Dixon knew she wanted to be a nurse, and the hard-working student has now taken a huge step towards securing it as her dream career.
The former Culloden Academy pupil had her heart set on entering the profession since she was around 12, and graduated yesterday with a Bachelor of Nursing in children and young people.
The 20-year-old has already joined the ranks of what she calls the “real life superheroes” in the emergency care unit of Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital.
After years of hard work and a lot of learning on placement at Raigmore Hospital, she took to the Beach Ballroom stage to collect her certificate.
“This is the moment I have looked forward to for years,” she said.
“I am looking forward to learning more, growing and developing into the best nurse I can be.”
