Dozens of Aberdeen students have put their studies to good use by raising thousands of pounds for good causes.
People on their third and fourth years of event management at the Robert Gordon University have put their skills to the test in recent months, hosting a range of events.
These included a student festival celebrating arts and culture, which raised £3,600 for Instant Neighbour and Grampian MS Therapy Centre.
Meanwhile six groups worked on The Main Event, as a culmination of their four years of study.
Each group worked with its own charity to host a fundraiser – with more than £9,000 raised for Alzheimer Scotland, Marie Curie, Erskine, Inspire, Dates-n-Mates, and Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland.
Student Catriona Sargison said: “Not only was it an amazing experience promoting arts, culture and well-being within the community, while gaining valuable event managements skills – but it was also a fantastic opportunity to raise huge funds for highly deserving charities.”
