A number-crunching Aberdeen student will be a finalist in a national accountancy competition.
Management with marketing student Lewis Coultas, who studies at the city’s Robert Gordon University, was selected from a pool of 50 entrants after a demanding assessment held at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants’ (ACCA) London HQ.
He is now on a shortlist of 10 to be named the Future CFO (chief financial officer) of the Year.
All the students are in the penultimate year of their undergraduate degree at a UK university, and all are studying a degree related to business, accountancy and finance, maths or economics.
Those shortlisted will now be invited to the Undergraduate of the Year Awards at Canary Wharf in London on April 24 where the winner and runner-up will be announced.
